Dec 29, 2009 – A Nigerian Terrorist with ties to Al Qaeda attempted to blow up a plain and failed miserably fortunatly and only ended up setting fire to his crotch. It is hard to understand how a terrorist could still sneak a bomb on a plane in this day and age.
I guess the US Government and TSA learned an important lesson, metal detectors can only detect metal! Not plastic explosive devices. Its also hard to believe the spin the government tries to put on the event by saying their security worked because the terrorist failed to detonate the bomb? Are you serious? America got lucky this time.
